Project Manager – India - US Hours Support

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with our onsite team and coordinate project activities during US hours. The ideal candidate must have JIRA board management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive projects efficiently across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track project progress using JIRA, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to align project goals, timelines, and milestones.
• Lead and participate in meetings with the onsite team during US hours (till 12 PM PST).
• Identify risks, resolve roadblocks, and ensure smooth execution of project tasks.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Work closely with development, QA, and business teams to ensure project alignment.
• Monitor and improve project workflows, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
• Ensure adherence to agile methodologies and industry best practices.
• Support resource allocation, task prioritization, and performance tracking.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project management in an IT/software development environment.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA board management and Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of project tracking, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with the onsite team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, and Agile frameworks.
• Willingness to work US hours and be available for meetings till 12 PM PST.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with distributed teams (onsite-offshore model).
• Certification in Agile, PMP, or Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) is a plus.
• Exposure to Confluence, Slack, and other collaboration tools.
